In 2011, Sandiaga Uno will participte in Gold Coast Airport Marathon (Jul 2-3, 2011) and New York (Nov 6, 2011). All funds raised will be given to YCAB to support its program on youth development.
Sandiaga Uno, Forbes Asia Philantropy Hero 2011, sharing his story and journey to be Asia’s top entrepreneur and business leader in front of 120 students of Y-Clubs and House of Learning and Development (HoLD) on June 24, 2011. The sharing session commenced prior to the press conference of “Berlari Untuk Berbagi” program (www.berlariuntukberbagi.org). YCAB was selected as the beneficiary of the donation for this year program.
Sandiaga Uno mentions the objective of “Berlari Untuk Berbagi” in his speech, that is to give meaningful contribution for the society. He hope that the program can inspire others to give positive contribution for their surroundings through doing something simple;any activity or hobby can make a change. This year’s funds will be used to develop leadership and entrepreneurship capacity of underprivileged and school drop-outs in Indonesia under the care of YCAB Foundation.
