YCAB IDOL 2023 took place on March 9, 2023, as part of the National Music Day celebration, aiming to strengthen the bond among YCAB Group employees. The preliminary round featured 34 participants displaying their singing talents from February 28 to March 24, 2023. YCAB IDOL 2023 Final was held on April 14, 2023, with the top 10 finalists competing for the coveted title. Throughout the entire time, Mr. Bobby Hartanto, Mr. Jimmy Wiyono, and Mrs. Veronica Colondam served as the three judges.
Besides the finalists’ performances, YCAB IDOL 2023 featured special guests, namely visually impaired musicians from Rumah Belajar Batik YCAB – Panti Tuna Netra Bojongbata Pemalang, who delivered exceptional performances. Despite their visual impairment, these talented musicians showcased remarkable skill and passion, transcending physical barriers with soul-stirring music. Their ability to create beautiful melodies reminded us of the boundless potential of art and left a lasting impression on the audience.
