Success Story of Mrs. Nurhasanah: From Selling Cooked Food to Sustaining Her Family Amid the Pandemic

Mrs. Nurhasanah, a client of YCAB Ventures, is an inspiring figure whose story serves as an inspiration for many aspiring entrepreneurs. Mrs. Nurhasanah was first introduced to business capital loans by a friend, and initially, her loan was around 1.5 to 2 million Indonesian Rupiah. However, Mrs. Nurhasanah’s determination to learn and grow never wavered. Now, after four years as a client of YCAB Ventures, she has a successful cooked food business.

Mrs. Nurhasanah began her business by selling food, particularly rice, in her local area. At that time, not many people were aware of her business, and she struggled to attract customers. Nevertheless, she had a strong determination and continued to work hard to run her business.

Her business has been running for 17 years, from when her child was three years old until now, at 20 years old. Throughout her journey, she faced various challenges, including taking a break and then returning to trade. Nevertheless, her spirit never wavered.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, orders for her business decreased, and she only received orders through WhatsApp messages. However, she never gave up and even ventured into catering to overcome this challenging situation. Mrs. Nurhasanah has faced many obstacles on her business journey, but her determination and spirit have always carried her through tough times.

Mrs. Nurhasanah learned to cook on her own and continued to enhance her skills. Initially, she offered only a limited menu selection, but as time passed, her customer base grew, and her food offerings became more diverse. Every day, she prepares approximately 15 to 20 different dishes.

In addition to running her business, Mrs. Nurhasanah also plays a crucial role in supporting her family’s economy. When her husband lost his job during the pandemic, she became the family’s main breadwinner, providing for their livelihood. Now, she takes pride in being able to finance her child’s education.The success and determination of Mrs. Nurhasanah’s success and determination are a clear testament that with hard work and unwavering spirit, anyone can achieve success in their small business endeavors.
